At AbbaCare we are in the business of sowing seeds in the lives of our clients. From the moment they walk through our doors to the moment they leave our care; we take the time to intentionally share the love of Christ with them.

Join us at this year’s Fall Fundraising Dinners where you can have the opportunity to partner with us in sowing seeds, and rejoice with us in the growth God has given.

About the Speaker: Kayla Kessinger

Kayla Kessinger, Her PLAN

Kayla Kessinger resides in Fayette County, where she works for Her PLAN – an organization seeking to establish a network of services for vulnerable women, children, and families around the country. At the age of 21, Kessinger was elected to her first term in the state’s legislature. During her first legislative session, she was recognized as one of the 10 youngest legislators in the country.

Kayla has been recognized as one of NewsMax’s 30 under 30 and one of GOPAC’s “Six Republican Women Under 40 to Watch”. She was recognized by West Virginia Living as a West Virginia Wonder Woman in 2018. During her time in the West Virginia House of Delegates, Kayla had the honor of serving as the Assistant Majority Leader and was able to serve the state as the chair of The Committee on Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse. Kayla previously served as The West Virginia Republican National Committee Woman, representing the state on the RNC. She has a BA in Public Administration from Liberty University.

Kessinger wrapped up her eight years of service in The West Virginia House of Delegates in 2022 and is now focusing all of her energy on building a stronger prolife safety net for vulnerable moms and babies.

About the Evening: FAQ's

  • WHAT IS A TABLE HOST?

A table host is a current or new supporter of AbbaCare that has taken the responsibility of filling their table with new and future supporters of AbbaCare.

  • WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FALL FUNDRAISING DINNERS?

At the Fall Fundraising Dinners, the evening starts out with dinner (see below), we will have a guest speaker (see above), as well as a message from our Executive Director, Nikki Morelli, and some other guest speakers along the way. It is an opportunity to learn about the year AbbaCare has had, hear what we have planned for the next, as well as be invited to become a financial partner.

  • WHAT WILL THE MEAL BE?

In Winchester, we will have Carrabba's Italian Salad, Tuscan Grilled Chicken, with sides of Zucchini Stephano and Penne Alfredo, and Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert.

At Martinsburg, we will have a Spinach Salad, Chicken Piccata, with sides of Herbed Potatoes and Seasonal Veggies, and Bread Pudding for dessert.

Both locations will have coffee, water, and tea available.

  • WHY ARE THERE TWO?

As you may or may not know, we opened AbbaCare's second location in Martinsburg, WV in 2020 and our support in that area has grown! Because of that blessing, we want to make sure everyone has the chance to celebrate the work that God is doing, so we host the dinner in both places.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear what makes you feel comfortable! There are no guidelines, but you will find that most guests wear their "Sunday best." If you want to take advantage of the evening and dress up on your night out-we would love that!

  • WHEN DO DOORS OPEN?

For both locations, doors open at 6:00 PM.

  • ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Unfortunately, we are not inviting children to this event. We have limited space at each location and want to be mindful of filling the seats with current and potential partners of AbbaCare.

  • HOW DO I RSVP?

If you were invited by a Table Host, please let them know if you will or will not be attending ASAP so they are able to make adjustments to their table.

If you were not invited by a Table Host, please email Kimberly@abbacare.org or call 540.665.9660 to secure your spot at either location before September 15th!
